Location & Surroundings

The Villa is located to the north of Bali, two and a half hours drive from the airport.  It is 5 km from Lovina beach Resort, with its numerous quality restaurants, shops, bars and a little night life. The Villa is situated in a small Balinese Village or “Banjar”, directly over looking the volcanic black sandy beach. Dolphin watching is very popular from here using the local fishing boats. The local village has a market 3 times a week which is full of vibrancy and colour.

The Villa is ideally located close to the hot water springs, which open at 8 o clock. Why not  try a refreshing swim and waterfall massage. Local massage is also available here.  In Lovina at the  Agung Centre there are many types of massage on offer including traditional Balinese and Japanese massage, acupressure and herbal baths and beauty treatments (massage costs approx 8 Euros per session).

ImageA typical day in Villa Ganasha Segara could include some dolphin watching as the sun rises over the volcanoes and tropical forests, followed by a swim in the sea and pool, a visit to the hot springs, a massage and if you really want deep relaxation, a visit to the local Bhuddist Vipasana Meditation Center. Exploring further afield there is the spectacular “Git Git” waterfalls (approx 8km), consisting of 3 large falls and natural swimming pools in the tropical rainforest. A spectacular way to cool off under the cascading waterfalls.

A trip to the middle of Bali, takes you to the volano district and the villages by the lakes. With temperatures akin to a British summer, walking for any distance or playing golf is a pleasure.  For golfers the 18 hole course at Bedugal is a must.

The national rainforest park surrounds this area with it’s waterfalls, exotic plants and wildlife.
